KLY Solar/Ground Mount

Ground-Mount Solar Structures

Fixed-tilt ground-mount structures for commercial and utility-scale PV projects — from single-post to triple-post systems, configured to layout, pitch and row spacing.

Foundations are selected against the ground itself — driven pile, ground screw, concreted, ballasted or anchored — with geotechnical and site survey data informing the structural design where available.

Foundations for any terrain

Engineered per site

Configurations

Post configuration is selected against array size, terrain and ground conditions.

Single Post fixed-tilt ground-mount diagram

Type 1

Single Post

Constrained sites and difficult terrain — minimal foundations.

Twin Post fixed-tilt ground-mount diagram

Type 2

Twin Post

The standard for open-field arrays — strength and stability across many configurations.

Triple Post fixed-tilt ground-mount diagram

Type 3

Triple Post

Larger table sizes, varying layouts and ground conditions.

Foundations for any terrain

The foundation route is selected per site — hard, soft or rocky ground, and locations where piles cannot be driven.

Driven pile

Driven steel piles for suitable ground — fast and cost-effective.

Ground screw

Screw foundations where ground conditions or removability require them.

Concreted pile

Concreted posts where soils need enhanced pull-out capacity.

Ballasted

Non-penetrating ballast for capped or sensitive ground.

Anchored

Anchor systems where piles cannot be driven.

Direct fix

Fixed direct to existing slabs and engineered surfaces.

Engineering

Ground & surveys

Geotechnical and topographical data informs the design where available.

Wind & snow loading

UK loading parameters applied per structure.

Steel & coating

Structural steel with galvanised or coated finish specified to the site environment.

Foundation design

Reactions and interfaces provided for the project's foundation design.

Site-specific structural engineering and verification can be coordinated with UK engineers where the project requires it.
