Two Mounting Systems

Solar Roof Mounting
Rails, clamps and tilt frames for trapezoidal, standing seam, tile and flat roofs.

Ground Mounting
Fixed-tilt steel frames for open land, on piles, screws or concrete.
Roof Mounting
The system follows the roof, not the panel - including non-penetrative options for standing seam and flat membrane roofs.
- Trapezoidal metal roof - crest fixings or mini-rails, roof-parallel.
Standing seam roof - non-penetrative seam clamps, no roof penetration.
Flat roof, ballasted - aerodynamic ballast trays, no penetrations.
Flat roof, attached - tilted frames anchored to slab or steel.

Ground Mounting
- Fixed-tilt rows for commercial and utility-scale arrays
Single-post and double-post configurations
Driven steel piles
Ground screws
Precast concrete piles
Concrete pads and ballasted frames
Foundation type follows your soil survey
- Hot-dip galvanised steel
Designed to Eurocode wind and snow actions

Frequently Asked Questions
Which roof types can you supply mounting for?
Trapezoidal metal, standing seam, tile and flat roofs - ballasted or attached. The attachment method suits the roof build-up and any warranty conditions.
Can you mount without penetrating the roof membrane?
Yes. Standing seam roofs take non-penetrative seam clamps and flat membrane roofs take ballasted systems.
Who checks the roof can take the load?
The structural adequacy of the existing roof stays with the building owner's engineer. KLY provides system loads and ballast plans.
What tilt angles do the ground mount structures use?
Fixed tilt, typically 20 to 25 degrees for UK sites, set at design stage with row spacing and module layout.
Which foundation type suits my site?
It follows the soil survey. KLY supplies the structure to suit the chosen foundation interface; groundworks stay with the EPC.
Does KLY install?
No. KLY is supply-only. Foundations, erection, PV installation and electrical works stay with the EPC or installer.
How do I get a price?
Send a roof plan or site layout, target capacity and site postcode. We respond within one working day.
